What's the Plan?

Building Maiden's Circle Coven & Academy from the ground up.

Currently, MCCA is testing the curriculum for a new Pagan studies course with Beta Students. This course is being developed to establish a "formal" academy that teaches an eclectic version of Wicca-based Paganism. More importantly, it teaches seekers to find their own personal path to the Divine.  The High Priestess and creator of MCCA, Morgana Brighid, has been traveling her path for about 15 years, and dedicated to the Goddess for 13. While her practice is multi-faceted, it is heavily Wicca influenced. Spirituality has always been a big part of Morgana's life as a solitary practitioner.

Over two years ago, she felt the need to do something for the women of the Pagan community.  In addition, Morgana wanted to bring back the power of a traditional-style coven in a modern world, and so the idea for this academy struck. The curriculum/lesson plans are structured around a once-a-month class format, which seekers will attend in person, for 12 months. Other aspects of the course will include online work, take-home practice, individual meetups as seekers see fit, and so on. That, ultimately, adds up to a year and day of study, after which seekers are able to apply to become a part of the adjoining coven. Eventually, as coven members are gained, teaching staff will increase, and so will the special courses we can offer (such as a three or six month course on Sabbats or one on Runes).

This is an extremely ambitious project, but Morgana believes it needs to be done in service to the Divine. After a few less-than-perfect startup attempts, MCCA is re-working the format and needs help to determine how the course can be truly helpful to seekers.

That's where you come in! We're looking for a few trustworthy, Pagan women to test out the online version of the course. Specifically, women who are very new to the Pagan community but wish to dedicate their time to learning more and those who have more experience with Wicca and witchcraft. After completing each lesson, you would be able to offer feedback on the course, thus helping to make it better for others. We want to know how the lesson helped or whether it hindered your learning, if any new things are revealed to you or whether more questions were inspired, and anything else you think might help. You're given at least a month with between each lesson, to return the feedback. Ideally, we'll build a friendship and create magick together!

Brightest blessings,
Lady Morgana Brighid
