Intro to Wicca
In this class, you will learn what it means to be a Wiccan or practicing witch. You will be introduced to the history of Wicca as a religion, the basic tenets of Wicca, and the basic beliefs and guidelines that tie us together in Maiden's Circle Coven.
This class will introduce you to the Goddess and many of her faces. You will learn the history of the Goddess throughout the world, as well as how to connect with the Goddess image that speaks most to you.
In this session, we will begin lessons on meditation and how to create rituals for a group. You will learn different methods for working with and building energy during ritual.
This class offers you a look into the history of the Witch, with a focus on the witch hunt hysteria in Europe and the United States.

The Course
Maiden's Circle Academy offers a 12-month course, meeting once a month with extensive work to be done outside of the class. It is not a course you can cram for. The effort you put into the work will directly correlate to the benefits you get from the Academy. Below is a list of the classes taught at MCA with a brief description.
This class gives you tools and ideas for daily witchy living. We will discuss the various Wiccan holidays, rites of passage, and ways to incorporate magick into your everyday life.
In this class, we will discuss how and why magick works, the various tools one could use to work magick, and the basics of casting a circle.
This class teaches the basics of divination using many different types of tools, including Tarot, Runes, and Mirrors.
This class allows you to expand your knowledge of the properties of stones/crystals and plants/herbs. You will learn different ways to use stones and plants in your magickal life.
Here you'll learn about natural potions and salves, including how to make your own. You'll learn of differing methods of healing for yourselves and for others.
This class offers you a look at charms, talismans, and amulets. We will discuss how to create and bless them, as well as their history.

This class will prepare you for graduation and moving forward with MCC. During this class, you will have the opportunity to review and share all that you've learned over the past 11 months.
You've done it! You've completed the course and are now ready to begin your life as a Wiccan. We will send you off with a beautiful Farewell ritual, followed by a celebration of the last year. You will receive your certificate and a special gift from MCC. Congratulations!
